OSC Endowment Awarded

The Ottawa Sportsmen's Club Endowment Committee, has chosen as its recipients for this year, the following students:

• Timothy Wilson of Baraga for $500 towards the study of Biology / Natural Resources at Michigan State University this fall;
• Kristin Coss of Bergland for $500 towards the pursuit of Biology Teacher at Northern Michigan University.

The OSC is making a grant of $500 to L'Anse Area Schools to purchase ArcView for Schools and Libraries Bundle software. This is a package which contains powerful Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software and 30 CD's containing over 21,000 MB of geographical data from around the world and close to home.
