July OSC Announcements
Highway Cleanup will be Friday, July 14, 5 p.m. Meet at the clubhouse on M-38 for pickup, then light supper after cleanup is finished. Many hands make light work.
Turkey Shoot Organizational Meeting is Monday, July 17, 7:00 p.m. at the clubhouse. Plans are to run the T.S. by committee this year as Russ has stepped down as chairman. Please attend this meeting and lend a hand as this is THE major fund raiser for the Ottawa Sportsmen's Club. There are many jobs to be handled.
Annual Club picnic is Sunday, August 6, 1 p.m. at the Courtney Lake facility. Bring a dish to pass. Meat will be furnished by the club and cooked by the Mitchell's. This will take the place of the normal first Monday club meeting and there will be a short meeting during the picnic.
Hunter Safety applicants should plan to pick up forms and sign up on Tuesday, August 15, 6 to 8 p.m. at the OSC clubhouse. Classes will begin on Friday evening August 25 and continue on Saturday and Sunday, August 26 & 27. Contact person is Roy Lyberg at (906) 353-7808.
Next regular club meeting will be Monday, September 4 (Labor Day).
