NOTICE to OSC members:
Sunday, April 13, Annual Wild Game Feed at the club on M-38. Announcement is that there is still in need of venison, goose and bear meat. Please advise Joe Dyke firstname.lastname@example.org or Ron Moilanen email@example.com if you have any to donate. Help is needed in the kitchen on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. to prepare meat, peel potatoes, set up dining room, etc. Reminder ~ bring a dessert to share for Sunday for the Wild Game Feed.
Roadside Cleanup is scheduled for April 25. Meet at the clubhouse at 5:00 p.m.
Ron Granroth announced the U.P. Hunters and Recreational Shooters banquet at Negaunee Ice Arena on Friday, May 2, 2008. Prices are $50 per person for dinner or $130 for the ultimate sportsmen's package which includes raffle tickets as well as the dinner. There will be shotguns, rifles, handguns and black powder shooting irons raffled off. Ticket reservations are due by April 21 and tickets will be held at the door. Send your reservation and check to U.P. Hunters & Recreational Shooters, c/o Negaunee Rod and Gun Club, 335 North Rd., Negaunee, MI 49866. Invite your friends to support this worthwhile project. Ron announced also that he is submitting a request for grant money to this organization for the Jr. Shooting Sports program of the OSC. We are still looking for a few dues for 2008. If you know someone who hasn't paid their dues please remind them to pay their $25 by the end of April or they will be dropped from the OSC roster and will no longer receive the MUCC Michigan Out-of-Doors magazine which is part of their OSC membership. Dues can be send to Judy Glandon, Membership Secretary, or sent to the OSC, P.O. Box 475, Baraga 49908, or left at the clubhouse.
